The santoor is a hammered dulcimer of Persian origin, often used by Sufi mystics as an accompaniment to their hymns. It is masterfully played by Dr. Sunil Katti who is also a composer and serves on the faculty of SNDT University, a prestigious music college in Mumbai, India.
